I am extremely lucky to be alive today
I was walking to school really sleepy and tired. I looked to cross the street but not that good because on my street there is never any cars especially early in the morning. Half way across the street I realized a car coming strait at me probably only 30 yards away and it was speeding. I barely had time to blink and I just froze in my tracks expecting impact. The car must have not seen me either because it didn't slow down until it was just about to hit me, It braked and swerved around me going at least 30 miles an hour. The car dodged me with only about 2 feet to spare. It is a miracle that I wasn't hit, Wow, what a close call. With how fast the car was going I would have been seriously hurt or even killed. I saw my life flash before me.
It's times like these that I am extremely grateful to a family and friends who pray for my safety and a Heavenly Father who helped that car see me at just the right moment. Thank You!!
Oh my gosh, Becca. Please be careful. We couldn't stand it if you got hurt or worse. That story scares me. Walking around campus is dangerous. I am so thankful you are okay.
