Today I have felt so much love and joy and gratefulness for Christ. It brings such hope to my soul to know that he rose up out of the grave and was ressurected so that we could be too. I am so glad I could spend this wonderful day with my family and feel the spirit discussing this Easter Sunday. I'm glad I was born into a family that believes in these things and I'm glad that I live in a country that lets us freely worship. I feel like today has had such a great spirit to it. I don't know how to describe it in words and so far I've done a terrible job.
I am grateful for the miracle of Christ, the greatest miracle of them all.
Prophets and apostles have described this miracle greater than I ever could. I would look at lds.org and read the words of the prophets and the accounts in the bible. There are so many great resources like videos and everything.
To sum up this post, I want to put up the lyrics of the song "I Know that My Redeemer Lives" I have a testimony that Christ did in fact rise from the tomb and he lives and loves us. I love him and am grateful with all my heart.
1. I know that my Redeemer lives,
What comfort this sweet sentence gives?
He lives, he lives who once was dead,
He lives, my ever living head!
What comfort this sweet sentence gives?
He lives, he lives who once was dead,
He lives, my ever living head!
2. He lives to bless me with his love,
He lives to plead for me above,
He lives my hungry soul to feed,
He lives to bless in time of need.
He lives to plead for me above,
He lives my hungry soul to feed,
He lives to bless in time of need.
3. He lives to grant me rich supply,
He lives to guide me with his eye,
He lives to comfort me when faint,
He lives to hear my soul's complaint:
He lives to guide me with his eye,
He lives to comfort me when faint,
He lives to hear my soul's complaint:
4. He lives to silence all my fears,
He lives to stop and wipe my tears,
He lives to calm my troubled heart,
He lives all blessings to impart:
He lives to stop and wipe my tears,
He lives to calm my troubled heart,
He lives all blessings to impart:
5. He lives my kind, wise, heav'nly friend,
He lives and loves me to the end,
He lives, and while he lives I'll sing,
He lives, my Prophet, Priest, and King:
He lives and loves me to the end,
He lives, and while he lives I'll sing,
He lives, my Prophet, Priest, and King:
6. He lives and grants me daily breath,
He lives, and I shall conquer death,
He lives my mansion to prepare,
He lives to bring me safely there:
He lives, and I shall conquer death,
He lives my mansion to prepare,
He lives to bring me safely there:
7. He lives, all glory to his name!
He lives, my Jesus, still the same:
O the sweet joy this sentence gives,
"I know that my Redeemer lives."
He lives, my Jesus, still the same:
O the sweet joy this sentence gives,
"I know that my Redeemer lives."
You said it perfectly!
